The International Governance Institute in Cameroon has been supporting efforts to improve governance and build integrity in Cameroonian communities since 2007.
Last year 2022 IGI Cameroon and the National Coalition Against Corruption of CONAC supported capacity-building workshops for stakeholders in the agricultural sector as part of national actions to promote Pillars 4 and 6 of the National Development Strategy of Cameroon NDS 2020-2030 (which are Pillar 4: Promotion of the development of Human Capital and wellbeing of Cameroonians and Pillar 6. Promoting governance, decentralization and strategic management of the state.) This year, 2023 IGI Cameroon is supporting the Ministry of Public Health, South West Region to say “No to Corruption in hospitals and other health service departments”, while empowering a core team of its select practitioners to lead the fight against corruption with integrity, build trust and shift norms.
